A Custom Kitchen Remodel With A New Layout Design

In this fairly old property in Agoura Hills, CA, the kitchen and dining area was in a really bad shape. The owner, Mr. Fergusson, a city-based real estate broker, wanted his kitchen redone in a professional way, as all other modern homes have. We first visited his property with a prior appointment, assessed the condition of the kitchen, understood his specific needs, learnt about his budget and thereafter offered him a FREE quote to compare. Within two days, the client replied to us, stating his interest with us, and wanted the job done right away. As soon as we received his SOS call, we jumped into the act, first by planning & designing the entire floor layout using an advanced 3D rendering software.

The Kitchen Flooring

It was in absolute ruins and shambles, if I’m not exaggerating. The flooring materials were in a terrible state. The ceramic tiles, almost 15-18 years old, were now broken at many places, totally discolored, dirt accumulated in the joints and corners, with a majority of them being loose, dislodged and uprooted, like the hump of a camel. The client wanted wooden laminate flooring instead. We showed him the color shades and textures, and he selected the royal ebony color. It was an improved laminate material that was somewhat resistant to scratches and water spots.

The Wall Tiles & Backsplash

Same as the flooring, the wall tiles of this kitchen in Agoura Hills, CA, was in a sorry state. It had broken corners, loose segments, dirt infested joints, overall discolored, spot, stain and scratch-infested surface. Mr. Fergusson wanted premium quality Italian vitrified tiles to be newly installed in the color combination of off-while/cream and light mauve. We showed him a full catalog of colors, textures, shapes & designs, and he chose one. Secondly, he wanted a new backsplash installation in a geometrical design & pattern right behind the ove and the sink wall. We did exactly the way he wanted it to be.
